Position title: Crew Manager (Coordinator)

Our Company strengthening and expanding our team in Klaipeda office and looking for experienced and motivated candidate.


About the position:

As a Crew Manager (Coordinator) at Baltnautic Shipping Ltd, you will have a very important role in a company with great growth potential, solid finances, and an attractive ownership structure. The main purpose of this position is to become the person responsible for the performance of the day-to-day activities towards the vessel’s crew.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of vessels Crew
  • Support in administrative tasks
  • Daily follow-up of vessels Crew
  • Planning and logistics of crew change
  • Booking flights, accommodation, transportation to the vessel
  • Relevant crew certification and documentation check
  • Database inputs and update
  • Communication with vessel’s Management, port authorities, travel agencies, Superintendents.
  • Ensure that all crew members onboard meet company’s minimum requirements and all crew personal records are in place
  • Ensure vessels submit Crew Appraisal Report for all personnel
  • Reference checks and quality assurance of candidates

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of STCW & MLC
  • Commercial mindset and good team player
  • Organized and strong at planning, as well as time management skills
  • University education
  • Good knowledge of English and Russian, both written and spoken
  • Previous experience in a similar field
  • Ability to see solutions and opportunities rather than challenges
  • Good IT and systems understanding
  • Working under pressure
