Job description:UAB "Omega Technology" is seeking to expand our Technology & Products Development and Maintenance team with new Software Systems Engineers who are proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, .NET and modern web development technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript and CSS.
As a Software Systems Engineer at Omega you will have an opportunity to design and develop high-quality project management systems for some of the world's leading players in energy sector, take part in projects both in Lithuania and around the world.

Example tasks:
  • systems analysis and design;
  • database and applications modeling;
  • development of comprehensive client-server software systems using Omega's application framework (Appframe);
  • creation of new and development of existing modules in Omega’s flagship project management products suite (Pims);
  • participation in client development projects in Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, France, England, USA, Canada, Singapore, Australia...

Requirements for employee:Required:
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Self-propelled and inner-motivated
  • Higher IT education or relevant work experience
  • Willing to acquire new skills and travel

Desired:
  • Strong database development skills using Microsoft SQL Server, including tables, views, triggers, stored procedures, and functions to implement business logic
  • Windows applications development using .NET
  • Web development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery, Bootstrap and similar)
